Cosmetic Conditions

  1. Acne Scars:

Scarring, whether caused by acne or trauma, can negatively impact a person’s complexion and self-esteem. Depending on the extent of trauma, some scars will be superficial and others may be deep. Shallow scars are easier to improve, while deeper scars may be more challenging. With proper evaluation, we can create a customized approach to reduce the appearance of scars and revitalize the skin. Treatments vary based on the type of scarring and may include, TCA cross, microneedling, chemical peels or laser resurfacing.

  2. Facial volume loss:

As we mature, we can all expect some degree of facial aging. Fine lines, sagging cheeks and shrinking lips are some of the ways volume loss may affect our appearance. Fortunately, there ways we can replenish facial volume loss with soft tissue dermal fillers. Though fillers aren’t permanent, they do offer long-lasting natural- looking results from six months to a year. Treatment times for dermal fillers vary from 10 to 30 minutes depending on the treatment area. No anesthesia is needed and pain is minimal. We make your comfort a priority and have various techniques to make the procedure as tolerable as possible. There is no downtime and you are free to resume most daily activities. However, we do advise to avoid exercise for 24 hours. Side effects including bruising and/ or swelling can occur, but these tend to last only a few days. We advise if you have major events, to have these performed at least 2 weeks prior.

  3. Fine lines and wrinkles:

Fine lines and wrinkles are inevitable but they can leave you looking older and tired. Fine lines are one of the earliest signs of aging and/or sun damage. We typically begin to notice them in our 20’s and 30’s. Popular areas for fine lines include the corners of the eyes (crow’s feet), between the eyebrows (the 11’s) and out from the corners of the mouth (nasolabial folds or laugh lines). Depending on the type of wrinkles you have and how deep they are, neuromodulators such as Botox or dermal soft tissue fillers may be helpful. In addition, laser resurfacing treatments and chemical peels may also be beneficial in smoothing away creases and revealing more youthful, vibrant skin. In scheduling a consult, together we can come up with a treatment plan to meet your goals in achieving a more youthful appearance.

  4. Sun damage and photoaging:

As we age, our skin may reflect the cumulative effects of UV radiation from years of sun exposure. Sun damage may show up on the skin as age spots, brown spots, melasma, freckles or hyperpigmentation. In addition to pigment changes, sun damage causes premature aging and increases our risk of developing certain skin cancers. We offer several treatments including laser treatments, microneedling and chemical peels to reduce sun damage and restore an uneven skin tone. In addition, it is also important to have annual skin checks with one of our providers to ensure you aren’t suffering from sun spots that are pre-cancerous or have developed a skin cancer.

  5. Uneven skin texture and pores:

There are many factors that contribute to uneven skin texture including, aging, sun damage, environmental factors, hyperpigmentation, acne, scarring and hormonal shifts. Depending on the cause and your goals, treatments include a medical grade skin care regimen, laser treatments, microneedling and chemical peels.

  6. Other treatments:

We also offer other treatments including skin tag removal, ear lobe repair, scar revision and more. Just ask!
